Visiting Sapi and Manukan was a lot of fun! The snorkelling was great and we got to see a lot of fish and coral. Lunch was much better than we expected with a variety of food. Our guide was informative and looked after us for the day.

Jesselton Pier has become really tatty and the public toilets are horrible. Our day was partly raining and while the weather is no one’s fault, the islands are cold and miserable when it rains. A back up plan would have been good. We hoped to see some wildlife but, other than some fish, there were none. It seems crazy to enforce life jackets on visitors who are only swimming in the enclosed area (inside net). You do not normally have to be burdened by a life jacket when merely swimming in an a netted off part of the shoreline. Snorkelling off of the beach is very tame with poor visibility.

I was the only one signed up, so I appreciate the guide taking me and watch ing my stuff while I snorkeled. I found it frustrating that I had to snorkel with a life jacket on - ruined the activity for me. I only took off one star since it is not in the control of the company.- it is park policy. I think it would be good to state that in the description. I still would have gone, but not bothered to bring my GoPro along. I used this trip as day one to try to get over jet lack- it was great for that!

OK'ish. "Snorkeling" does not mean to see huge coral reefs; the beach is rather empty. Some fish can be seen nevertheless. Overall, Sapi island is meh, but Manukan is really nice. Good to know: You can opt out of the mandatory swim wests for snorkeling if you sign a liability waiver with the live guard.

We were booked to visit 2 islands but the weather turned so we only visited one island in the morning. We had lunch and then the afternoon island and snorkelling was cancelled. We were told we would get refunded for the afternoon trip- out if £52 per person (there were 2 of us) we were refunded £0.90 each- totalling £1.80 refund out of a charge of £104. Do. It understand this and was ripped off!

Island hopping was good. We just had to wait a while because the weather wasn’t the best in the morning. But everything turned around towards the ending of the journey. The see was a bit rough during the morning, but it’s hard to calm down in the afternoon. Well worth the journey.

Magnificent experience, loved the tour. Very well organised with friendly guides. Did the snorkelling and parasailing, guides took us to great locations and allowed us to have free time to explore the beautiful islands. Highly recommend this activity.

Snorkeling was sub par, cloudy water and in a small roped area of beach. Guide was managing several groups at once. Many guides supported hundreds of tourists on the same beach, trading boats and eating the same food. Cool bars on makutan.
