Day 1: Cusco to Soraypampa (3,900m)

Start your journey with a scenic drive to the trailhead at Mollepata.
Humantay Lake: A moderate hike to the stunning Humantay Lake.
Soraypampa Camp: Arrive at Soraypampa, where you’ll spend the night under the stars.

Day 2: Soraypampa to Chaullay via Salkantay Pass (4,650m)

The most challenging day as you ascend to the highest point of the trek, Salkantay Pass.
Descent to Chaullay: Descend through diverse microclimates to lush cloud forests.

Day 3: Chaullay to La Playa
Hike through tropical coffee plantations
La Playa: Arrive at La Playa, a small settlement where you can relax.

Day 4: La Playa to Aguas Calientes via Llactapata
Discover the less-visited Llactapata ruins, providing a unique view of Machu Picchu.
Hydroelectric Station: Continue with a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes.

Day 5: Machu Picchu Exploration
Early morning bus ride to Machu Picchu to witness the sunrise.
