Begin your tour by meeting your guide at the street level of Margaritaville. From there, you’ll make your way to your first food stop to enjoy delicious Tortilla Soup.
Next, you will pass by La Villita, San Antonio’s first area. In 1809, La Villita, Ville de San Fernando, and other nearby areas came together to form the town of San Antonio. During this time you will also pass by the Historic Village, Venue Villita, Presa Street Bridge, the Mexican Consulate, and the Tower Life Building.
Next, you will have a beef, chicken, or pork quesadilla and a Mexican soft drink at the second restaurant of the tour. You will then pass through Marriage Island and Kallison Love Lock Bridge. Both locations are very romantic destinations for couples. Marriage Island is a popular marriage venue, while the Love Lock Bridge is a bridge covered in locks placed by couples as a sign of their love.
You will then pass by the San Fernando Cathedral - the oldest, continuously functioning religious community in Texas. From here you will get to try vegan, Baha, or shrimp tacos at the next food stop.
Lastly, you will finish your tour with a Mexican dessert, delicious fried pastries with a Spanish heritage - perfect to satisfy your sweet tooth.
