We enjoyed this tour by Valerie and she did a great job explaining everything about the city and the chocolate factories we visited. We had some nice chocolates and learned a lot. Would recommend.

We had the most wonderful time with Vera on our Ghent chocolate tour. She was incredible! So friendly and knowledgable. We went to at least 8 shops over the course of a couple of hours and she told us really interesting facts about the shops themselves as well as the buildings and landmarks in Ghent. It was the highlight of our trip and would highly recommend it to anyone!

How can a chocolate tour not be fun? The guide took us to great examples of Ghent chocolatiers. Everyone on the tour backtracked to purchase from them after the tour. Haha. The guide could use some practice with storytelling, but she was very nice and knew her city. It was a fun afternoon.

Enjoyable tour. Informative tour about Ghent. Had several candy samples outside of chocolate, so that was a little disappointing for me. Was counting on more chocolate and learning more about the local makers. Visited 3 chocolate shops. And had candy samples from 2 other shops. Very nice tour guide.

We loved this tour! Debbie was fun, interesting, knowledgable and a pleasure to listen to. We have been on many walking tours and this one was up there as one of the best (closely rivalling a tour of the brewery district in Toronto). Debbie was very inclusive and made us all feel involved by asking lots of questions as part of her spiel. We loved the variety of chocolates and sweets that we were given, and each shop we visited was carefully chosen. It was a nice touch to let us choose our favourite type of chocolate in one of the shops. If you’re looking for something to do that is slightly different to the usual sightseeing walking tour, then we suggest you give this a try. Highly recommended.
