  • Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing and make sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids throughout your visit.
  • We recommend allowing additional time and keeping a flexible schedule to accommodate the ferry boarding process and passing through the Screening Facility.
  • Keep in mind that 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM priority entry will not provide enough time to visit Ellis Island.
  • Please note that there are no locker storage areas available at the Screening Facility at Battery Park.
  • All minors (17 and under) must be accompanied by a responsible adult (25 years or older) at all times.
  • All visitors boarding a Statue City Cruises ferry to Liberty and/or Ellis Island are required to go through security procedures at the Screening Facility.
  • The time printed on your ticket indicates when you should join the queue to enter the security screening facility, not a specific departure.
  • Battery Park is the departure point for this Audio guided tour.

Begin your journey at Battery Park, New York. Upon arrival, present your entry ticket to board the ferry quickly, bypassing the general queues for purchasing the ticket. Make sure to arrive early to enjoy views of the New York Harbour and take photos. You must take the Security Screening Facility. Board the ferry and enjoy a scenic ride through the harbour. As you sail towards Liberty Island, marvel at the iconic views of the Statue of Liberty and the New York skyline. During the ferry ride, you can listen to the onboard commentary, offering fascinating facts about the landmarks around you.
Liberty Island
