This is the only hands on food experience in the Adelaide Hills and is very popular amongst our visitors.

The experience commences with Hahndorf Inn staff taking you through the process of making your very own Apple Strudel. This takes between 15-20 mins depending on the number of people in the group. Ingredients are all from local suppliers and include apple, almonds, sultanas, sugar, cinnamon and pastry. After you have finished, your walking tour guide will collect you from inside the Inn, to commence your 90 min tour.

When you return to the Inn at the completion of the tour you will be served your very own strudel, served with vanilla bean ice-cream, cream and a hot drink or soft drink of your choice. You’ll definitely enjoy this tour and leave with a sweet taste in your mouth.
