What you can expect

Begin the day with a drive to the picturesque city of Tagaytay. Located on a ridge 2,250 feet (686 m) above sea level, it offers a panoramic view of Taal Lake and Volcano. After lunch, return to Metro Manila, visit bustling Makati, and see San Agustin Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In Tagaytay, a visit to the Palace in the Sky, the “rest house” of former President Ferdinand Marcos, presents breathtaking views of Taal Lake and the volcano. Stop for a brief lunch in one of the local restaurants to sample cuisine and delicacies popular in the region. While you dine, admire the famous panoramic views and prepare for the trip back to Metro Manila.

Your half-day tour of Manila starts with a visit to the Manila American War Memorial and Cemetery. Experience the hustle and bustle of Makati as you head to the country's capital city, Manila, via the scenic Roxas Boulevard. Pass through Rizal Park on the way to the “Walled City” of Intramuros and travel back in time on cobbled streets to San Agustin Church before a stop at Fort Santiago.

Overall, the tour was very interesting in terms of its history and cultural background. I would definitely recommend this tour to my family and friends back home. Although the tour guide forgot to pick me up, I was accommodated to catch up with the tour via grub. I highly recommend those people making reservations to confirm with their bookings one day prior to their tour to avoid delays or problems.

Didn't see much of Taal Lake, spent a few minutes in a view deck to view Taal Lake from a distance! Spend most of the time sitting in traffic! Not recommended.

In particular, the Manila City tour was a massive history lesson. The tour guide was informative, but with a great sense of humour. The driver was an absolute expert at manoeuvring through the traffic.
