This downhill biking adventure takes you through Teide National Park at 2200 metres and travels through some of the most picturesque Canarian villages in the south of the island with breathtaking views.
The route is around 35 kilometres long, mostly on safe, well-maintained, empty secondary roads and all downhill, so you won't have to peddle and just enjoy the ride.
We will meet at the Xplore Tenerife office in Los Cristianos and take you in our air conditioned van to the start point of the trip, a 40-minute drive.
The biking adventure starts at 2200 metres altitude in the Teide National Park, full of Canarian pine forest and start the descent towards Vilaflor, the highest village in Tenerife.
Experience stunning views of the pine forests with a stop at the famous Pino Gordo that has survived for centuries, with a stunning 9-meter diameter and 45-meter height.
At Villaflor, a traditional Canarian village with pretty plazas and rich history and culture, there is a stop to admire a 500-year-old church built by the first European settlers on the Island.
Then, it's a beautiful ride through vineyards with a well-deserved break in an ecological bodega to try the local wine and handmade cheese from the nearby hamlet.
On the way down, there are plenty of stops at viewing points to take stunning photos of the spectacular vistas.
