Enjoy the Marrakech Evening Dinner Food with a locals
On this private evening walking tour in the Medina of Marrakech, you'll taste a bunch of typical culinary specialities that you don’t want to miss! Be impressed by the sights, scents and savoury flavours of stunning Marrakech. An evening to remember!
You’ll start your tour with an introduction about the city's market history. Take a stroll through the food market where uncountable stalls groan under the weight of fresh fruit, meat, fish and vegetables. Watch the bakers making local pastries and get a glimpse of how the Kech people haggle in the market.
Start experiencing new flavours and enjoy tastings like a good traditional Harira-Soup with dates and eggs or the traditional charcoal-baked Tajine. Ask your local guide about the different types of Tajine and the secrets of how we cook it.
Head to the souks and explore some of the side streets to discover food stops often missed by tourists. Marvel at the vendors’ stalls and be amazed by the colours and flavours that you can find there. Try some of the wares on offer including juices, sandwiches and couscous.
Take in the smells of the local spices like cumin, saffron, Ras al Hanout, fresh herbs and many more exotic tastes.
Enjoy and sip a glass of mint tea together with your guide. Learn about the tradition and habits of preparing and drinking tea the Moroccan way and taste some moroccan pastries with honey.
We can finish this tour with a sunset view over the Medina on a Restaurant terrace. If you are still a little hungry, you can stay there to have something more to eat (not included in the price anymore). If you prefer to be dropped off at your Riad, let your guide know.
