This tour was absolutely phenomenal. Our group was met by Şule who was the most stunning and kind soul, an absolute sweetheart. Before we met she made sure that we had the correct address and map pin for apple and androids phones. Picture were also sent of the meeting location so we would find our way easily. We started the tour with a local appetizer followed by a Turkish delights establishments both amazing. Then we hopped into a van and navigated the street which were having a political protest at the moment. We got to a great rooftop restaurant the had the best night views for photo op. Then off we headed to the main event full of Turkish foods and absolutely all of them were delicious. She ended the night with a small gift and a ride back to a location near our hotels. Before the end of the night she sent a list of all the locations we went too with a reminder of the foods we had. And gave us a comprehensive list of other restaurant recommendation depending on neighborhood we were staying in. I took her recommendations the following days and they didn't disappoint. Definitely book this tour, you will be happy you did, hopefully you will get Şule she was perfect for the tour.

Booked this tour as an evening celebration for my mum's birthday. Şule is an absolute angel. She not only was witty but also very generous. She organised a cake at the final restaurant for my mum and she gave each of us a lovely and personalised handwritten gift as a way of saying thanks for joining her tour. She shared lots of information with us and gave us enough time to take pictures etc. Our group of 4 (me and my mum plus the couple on the tour also) had a blast with Şule and I have no hesitation at all to recommend her for this evening tour. Great communication from Alara… having all met up we were whisked off to try a savoury paste and some excellent milk Turkish delight… then transported by car for tea on a stunning rooftop offering panoramic views of the whole city, accompanied by the Call to Prayer - very atmospheric… and then, as if the evening couldn’t get any better, off to a superb restaurant in Fatih, where the food just kept on coming… absolutely beautiful food we would not have been able to source ourselves in a city of thousands of restaurants…. Full and happy, having met some lovely people from India, Canada, Spain and the US, we were taken back to our hotel area! Such great value for money, recommend on your first night here, as Alara provides you with a huge list of recommendations at the end of the night. Alara was excellent, her English is perfect, the relationship with the businesses so good, and her historical knowledge of her home city was second to none! Thank you, we highly recommend!!

Fantastic night out. Great hosts Alana who was so sweet and knowledgeable; and Caan who was very informative and professional. Evening started with some amazing street food served by an entertaining owner, followed by fresh lokum in the shop. We then moved on to a rooftop terrace for Turkish tea and amazing views, followed by a 3 course meal in a typical Turkish restaurant with traditional dishes. No alcoholic drinks, but the trip is authentic and very very good . At the end drop off was at your hotel or convenient taxi rank for those staying further out. Highly recommended .

Amazing experience! Zey was fabulous and shared with us great information to go along with the yummy food. The advance communication was wonderful and made it easy for us to find the meet up spot. The rooftop views at night were lovely - a great way to view the city! And, definitely left full after enjoying great Turkish cuisine- and really appreciated how Zey shared with us information and background about the food to help us understand the culture.
