We will travel along Zabatta route up to the old Roman main station, which is considered the first service area station is history, founded 2000 years ago. Zabatta way, once known as the street of the Gladiators, crossed “the Liburia” of Campania felix and connected with the Appia way. These roads allowed the Gladiators with their entourage to reach Pompeii for the games and fights, directly from the Gladiatorial schools of Capua, the most renowned at that time.
In this area was born the legend of Spartacus and his warriors, which fought for freedom in the III servile war 73 BC.
After lunch we will then proceed to Pompeii to visit the archaeological park with hirs ruins.
