It’s no secret that Mombasa can be a little warm. But what’s better than a local beer garden to cool down?

Interesting tour. I appreciated the fact that Humphrey contacted me after I booked and again on the morning of the tour. He was also at the meeting point very early and came to introduce himself.

Humphrey is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and respectful. He made my tour experience feel special and fun. I felt very safe doing this tour as a solo female traveler. We started at Fort Jesus; he gave a compelling and detailed history of the place that made the history feel like it was coming alive. We then went to Old Town and a spice market, Uhuru park, and the Mombasa tusks. I got to ride around in a tuktuk—my first time! I really recommend booking with Humphrey for a unique and fun experience. 😊

We definitely recommend the Walking Tour Through Old Town Mombasa and Fort Jesus with Humphrey. My husband and I had a wonderful and informative time on our tour. Humphrey was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He was able to tell us about the complete Fort Jesus and Old Town history as well as escorted us to some interesting places within Fort Jesus’s well as Old Town. At our request he was able to direct us to a great souvenir shop to get some gifts. We felt very safe traveling around Mombasa with Humphrey! We had a ton of fun! Thank you Humphrey🙏🏾

What an awesome experience! Humphrey Ndungu is an amazing guide! He was thoroughly knowledgeable about Fort Jesus and Old Town Mombasa. We were a group of six history lovers, including two teachers, (one being a History Teacher) and we learned so much from him. He was patient dealing with all of our personalities as we battered him with a ton of questions. He led us through Old Town and was very protective of our whole group especially walking through the Spice Market. He brought us to the BEST local shop for gifts and I was shocked at how economical it was compared to the many other shops we had already purchased from. He took us on our first Tuk Tuk ride and we all had a blast! Finally, he arranged for our driver, (who was still waiting at Fort Jesus) to pick us up by the Spice Market so we wouldn’t have to walk all the way back to in the hot sun. Thank you Humphrey for one of the best experiences on our 12 day tour of Kenya! I highly recommend him and his tour for anyone going to Mombasa!

Humphrey is very professional, not only about the history and culture of Mombasa (especially of For Jesus & the Old Town), but also take good care of your personal safety and the overall experience. The whole trip is pleasant & flexible, I had plenty of time so he took me to the Spice Market & a Hindu temple.

He is very knowledgeable about city walking and Fort Jesus and takes some very beautiful pictures. He was also very friendly and I was very pleased with his service. In Fort Jesus he explained the history of the city with some of the highlights. In Old Town, he explained the streets to us and introduced us to a very conscientious jeweler. The spice market was very fascinating as he taught us about the various spices!
