Overview

We will take a slow bus trip along the West Point road as we explore mangroves, forests, waterfalls, creeks, as well as historic and cultural sites. Some points of interest will vary according to tides and weather, (i.e., mangroves at high or low tide, and waterfalls in or out of wet season).

Discover the other side of Magnetic Island that few people experience, on our fun & informative 3 hour guided West Coast 4x4 Eco Bus Discovery Tour. ​ We will take a slow bus trip along the West Point road as we explore mangroves, forests, waterfalls, creeks, as well as historic and cultural sites. Some points of interest will vary according to tides and weather, (i.e., mangroves at high or low tide, and waterfalls in or out of wet season). A little low impact walking will be done during the tour, and may include 2 to 3 short walks through the mangroves, the salt mashes, along creek lines and along the beach at West Point. All walks will be easy in nature. This tour offers a more relaxing wander rather than an active adventure.
