Camel Race Track:
Camel racing in Qatar is a popular traditional sport that dates back many centuries. It is a significant part of Qatari culture and heritage and is considered a national sport. Qatar hosts various prestigious camel racing events and has some of the world's finest racing camels.
Camel racing involves specially bred and trained camels competing in races over long distances, usually between 4 to 10 kilometres. The races take place on specially built tracks in the desert or at camel racing clubs. To keep up with the camels, robotic jockeys are used instead of human jockeys. These robots are lightweight and controlled remotely by trainers who follow the camels in cars on the side of the track.
