"Had a comfortable 3 night stay here. Room was spacious. Friendly reception helped us out when we accidentally put something important in the bin. Location close to a range of eating venues and Hagley Park. We walked from here into the city centre and botanic gardens. Room very clean. Would stay here again. "

"The bathroom was great in the fact there was a nice long beautiful top along the length of the room where there was great room for your toiletries. The water pressure was very low. Under the shower curtain water leaked over most of the room but it was very clean. Good little kitchenette. I didn't feel very safe in this area of town"

"I booked a twin room and was given a king, it was late and we were tired so it wasn't worth going back down to see if we could move rooms so we made it work. The room was well appointed and clean. We were directly under the bar/restaurant and it was quiet in our room which was a blessing, though the construction next door started up about 0630. "

"Value for money. lovely comfortable bed.. and easy drive to the Riccarton hub/mall (shopping and dining) Warehouse and even an OP shop across the road. Definitely an older style motel but clean and tidy. shower was a little compact and low pressure but otherwise we'd stay again."
