I loved all the thoughtful touches of a cold juice when you arrive, flowers on the best and them putting on the ac before we arrived so we could arrive to a cool room. Free tea and coffee all day and the use of a fridge and freezer was amazing. Staff were also wonderful and very helpful. Couldn’t ask for more. "

Everything is old, broken, full of ants and dead flies, the showers have no doors, the pool looks like a horror film. Some other guests had a party until 5am and when we tried to find a member of staff to complain to there was no-one all night. And then they claimed the next morning there was no party. We tried to ask for a partial refund but the owner refused and made us pay 100%. The...

"Room and the location are excellent just near by the beach. Service and hotel facilities are great. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Thaproban beach restaurant is the best restaurant in the area and dining at the beach is wonderful experience. Best and delicious food. Worth for the money spent. Diffidently we will be back for next vacation."

"Why House is a wonderful place to stay in Sri Lanka. It's a beautiful oasis of calm - with a very warm welcome from Henrietta and all the staff and a beautiful setting. Our room was fantastic, perfect for our family with its upstairs area for the kids and beautiful mast bedroom and bathroom. The pool is a fantastic place to relax and swim - and when they switch on the lights at night it's truly magical. We had great food and they staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful in helping us...
