"We had a wonderful stay at hill’s and hues. Thank you for all your help with our stay. Just be mind full that it is at a top of a massive hill it is very steep to drive/walk up there but the hotel is very helpful. I would recommend."

"Location : Access is restricted and through dirty broken bylanes. Barking dogs in the adjacent shanties will keep you awake through the night. Hotel management does not have any control over these. Extremely expensive for the facilities it offers and its location. The Receptionist (Manikandan) was out to swindle us even for small things like auto fare and tickets for cultural shows. Food is okay, nothing great. Property looks good only in photographs."

"A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. The restaurant served a good buffet for dinner and breakfast, with both Indian and western dishes. We chose to eat the Indian food it was served hot and was very tasty. "

"It was a worst experience staying in Lumino, I was charged extra than the money I paid online. But paying that also it was a worst experience. "Really nice place. Friendly staff! Kumily is great for exploring Periyar. The hotel is 10-15 min walk from the entry point into Periyar national park. Clean and spacious room. No hot water in the shower head. However, there was a tap with hot water in knee-height and a plastic bucket. So it was possible to get a hot shower using that. "

"Pro - View Cons - The list would be big. The narrow lane leading to the hotel is at its worst condition and there is no alternate path. You are certain to face issues if you don't travel in a SUV. The hotel badly needs a long due maintenance, the curtains are shabby and dirty, the bedsheets are full of stains, the towels were smeared with grease and when confronted the hotel, they only blamed the external laundry company but never replaced the bedsheet or towel when requested.
