"I was disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the room for the price. It was rather worn. Additionally the air conditioning was not strong and could not be adjusted with a thermostat. Probably the worst thing was that even though it was a non-smoking room there was a faint smell of stale smoke and part of the carpet had a very bad smell too."

When I noticed several empty rooms I asked if she could change the room and she said it will cost us extra 20,000 yens. We had two suitcases to carry up and then down and no help was offered.
