"Check in was unusual, having to phone as arriving after 8pm. Given key box code for access to key, was easy enough. Room small but clean and tidy. Heater in room was on which was a warm arrival but room became very stuffy and no window could be opened. Only stayed over night and didn't try the breakfast. "

The guesthouse was first rate: our room was luxurious with a great view of rose garden and the sea, the lounge is the place to sit back and relax in the most comfortable high quality winged back chairs with a roaring wood fire, the breakfast was delicious served in a stunning room, and the staff were gracious, helpful and friendly."

"This would actually be a review of the Morangie Hotel in Tain. We were informed just a few weeks before our trip that they have repairs that needed to be done in the Mansfield hotel and that they transferred us to another hotel without an offer of a refund. The Morangie Hotel was a nice looking manor and had lovely stag head and Jacobite sword memerobilia. However shrouded in tacky halloween decorations and buckets laid about to catch leaks around the hotel. It wasn’t the stay we were expecting....
