"it's a very quaint antique like hotel, every piece of furniture has history. the room is comfortable and has wonderful view look out to the nearby garden. the cow bells sound in the morning is very soothing. it really brings me back to 1900s. the breakfast is delicious. it's a wonderful experience to stay here comparing to a more modern hotel that doesn't have much characters. "

"1. Very nice and helpful staff at the reception. Employees at the restaurant cannot really communicate or answer questions unfortunately (other than the lovely woman in breakfast) 2. Very nice, large, clean, comfortable rooms 3. Food was mostly good, large choice of salads and vegetables 4. The pool is nice BUT slippery and dangerous. It will end badly if not taken care of 5. No outside area for kids at all, and the indoor room is not nice at all 6. Area is beautiful, just in front of the cable...

"A pretty hotel and pretty area. No elevator so carrying bags up is quite difficult, also only a few car parks, not enough for everyone. Breakfast was great and location perfect "

"Fantastic stay. Great restaurant. I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner options. Very popular place to have a drink. The owner is hands on and sponsors a variety of public events like blass band and other performers outside the hotel square. 2nd floor has a massive balcony patio, library, reading room, etc. There’s also the ability to rent an ev car or bike right from hotel. All guests I talked to enjoyed their stay and other locals in town have called it a hot spot for hanging out....

"We chose this hotel for the second time. Half-board was good. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Room was ok, the equipment a bit older, but the view was amazing. Parking in a parking house next to the hotel - higher cars as ours have to use the upper entrance which is about 5 minutes drive (no signs, receptionist told us where to go). "

"Great location near the bus station and tourist information centre. Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a pleasant dinner in the dining room. The air conditioning system struggled in the hot summer temperatures - though the hallways were always cool, the rooms were not. "

"Vera is a great host, nothing is too hard for them and they even answered my Whatsapp messages on Sunday (their rest day). I'm so thankful to have found this place. The property has very strong vinegary smell in the kitchen/living area, so strong that we tried to avoid the kitchen as much as we can. The property is so hot, we turned off all the radiators and still very hot overnight, not sure where the heat is coming from but we were there in Feb, minus 10 degree C overnight and we were hot....

"Loved the stay. Apartment was very new and looked exactly like the photographs, with an amazing view of the mountains from the balcony. Owner was very kind as well in letting us check out late with no fuss. Apartment was a short 7min drive to Bad Gastein center. 10/10 would recommend. "
