"Wanted a night in the countryside close to San Marino. The place had good views of the hills and valley and was peaceful. It isn’t really close to a city but it was fine for a night."

"Hotel was excellent and with free parking near entrance. it is about 2KM from the city center up one hill after another with no pedestrian lane so we chose to drive and parked in 6 level garage with a shopping center on levels 7-10. We visited the castello in the afternoon and did not wait around for restaurants to open at 8 PM. So we just picked up a sandwich at the shopping center and took it back to the hotel."

"I had a great staying at Hotel Santo Stefano. The staff is absolutely wonderful; I travelled by public transport and they came to pick me up and take me back to the bus stop. The rooms are very spacious and confortable. The hotel has got a restaurant which is very handy when you have spent a day at the Archive and you are too tired to go out. "This room was very unsafe. The room was boiling hot. The air conditioner did not work. The hallways had no light. The main desk person left and locked the front door at 2330. The lobby was completely dark. I caught her as she was locking the door to ask about the air conditioning because the room phone did not work.
