"Friendly helpfull staff. Comfortable & clean in need of a bit of TLC . Shower looked good but didn't use it... my fault as I was put off by large window in bathroom which had a net curtain, I didn't notice till too late the blind! Very good location for town, cathedral/gardens & Apex. Got car in their car park which is small not sure where you would park if no spaces. "

"We stayed for one night, we could not fault a thing, the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, beautiful and clean throughout, we had an evening meal which was absolutely amazing, such reasonable a reasonable price, and the portions were huge! We stayed in the Bolton room which was very clean and comfortable, there was plenty of tea and coffee,and some lovely toiletries to ise too, luxury towels and bedding too.
