The property is older and it shows. There were dings in the furniture and the decor was outdated. "The property is very well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, they leave at about 5 PM and as a result for sometime, I was the only person in the whole place. I tried very hard to make sure I didn’t think about the movie “The Shining”. Once I got comfortable, it was very nice! I highly recommend."

"Stayed at this property numerous times over the years. They’ve made wonderful updates and it truly feels like a mountain lodge with an amazing bar and gorgeous seating area. The restaurant was closed so we didn’t get to try it. Would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet escape to a truly charming inn. "
