"Room was very big, bath was lovely and bed really comfortable. Staff at the desk were very welcoming and helpful. There was however marks on the bed spread, watermarks and ring marks on the desk and dust in the bathroom. The property is very old and the room was freezing!! We had two heaters so managed to defrost after a few hours. Enjoyed our stay but with a few tweaks it could have been even better!"

"The staff were phenomenal, Rachel, I believe her name was, was so welcoming the night we got there, so chatty and friendly, she made it seem like a home away from home, especially since we were so far away from home. The room was beautiful and so clean, I could’ve just lived in there forever, and the breakfast staff the morning after were so unbelievably kind, made sure we were well attended to, we definitely will be back next time we’re down there. "Really nice reception staff Impressive large industrial style lobby Good value proper breakfast Right next to John Lewis Own car park underneath - first come first served. Tired room - clean but needed a refurb. One of just 2 lift cars was out of order. Fire alarm went off twice - during the day luckily. "

"Very conveniently located. Ample parking. Reception staff extremely helpful. One negative point. The shower cubical is slippery and unsafe. Shower controls are not user friendly. Much Water spills to the outside the tray wetting the floor heavily. A simple solution would be to fit a sliding curtain to contain the water spill. "
