"Nice hotel with good views of the mountains. Clean and tidy. A challenge to find as it was outside the town up a winding road. The restaurant was dissapointing because the service was very slow and there was no atmosphere, although the food was good. However it is within a 10min walk of the town which has plenty of nice restaurants."

"A bit away from the central market but very peaceful. It is mini tibet. The rooms are spacious. Hotel serene. Staff very helpful. Ms. Rupali receptionist, ms. Cherry, himmatbhai and all restaurant and room service staff polite and always helpful. Food needs little improvement. Every room must have hot water geyser or boiler. They have solar connection for hot water but it takes time to get hot water. In house laundry is an advantage. Rates are reasonable for all services. We have stayed there...

"This is the second time I have stayed at Buddha's Abode. They had only just opened last year and it is pleasing to see an additional floor has opened up. The views of the mountains are the best in Mcleod Ganj and the location is fantastic for all that the area has to offer. "It's a great property with a great view, the food is expensive so I would recommend to opt for a Half Board meal plan. The food is tasy and staff is polite, helpful and hardworking. The Ropeway to McLeodganj is about 10km away only. It's a quiet property with great rooms. If you go for balcony make sure avoid ground floor as balcony is better if not on the ground floor. "
