"Absofuckinglutly loved this location for walking the long beach. There is still a lot of Rebuilding and clean up that needs to be done on the island however, this resort was great! Pool is not open or the hot tub but they are working on it! "

"The bathroom fixtures had rust on them. I guess that’s to be expected because it is on the water. However, cleanliness in the bathroom could’ve been better as well. Continental breakfast was very good. Most employees spoke very little English. I received an invoice of the stay from Hotels.com email showing that the hotel room was $99 a night plus taxes as opposed to 119 that I had paid. After lengthy communication with the online chat, no reimbursement was to be made on the price difference....

"This hotel is gorgeous and in the best location. And very expensive. For the money I paid, I expected more than partially used shampoo and conditioner in the shower, no one telling us the switch in the entrance by the door controls the bathroom lights, and a remote that didn't work (two times) leaving limited access to TV. No offer of a discount when these things were pointed out. Other than this the place is beautiful and wonderful. But for the money, it should be perfect. And it wasn't."

"Historic but lovingly maintained. Big room with lots of facilities. Breakfast is top class. The fresh waffles are life changing! Nice bacon and great sausages. Cute cheese omelettes. Fresh fruit. We’ll be back! X"
