"Good hotel, nice swimming pools indoors "

"The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Everyone was so welcoming to us and my dog. The room was spacious and warm. The bar was funny, playing Coronation Street on the big TV on Friday night was an unexpected vibe! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and warm, clean and inviting. However the changing rooms could do with an update! And no coffee machine working for morning coffees or espresso martinis was gutting! "Stayed here for 2 nights along with our 2 dogs. For the price we weren't expecting much, but we were pleasently surprised. Quick check-in staff very friendly, room was a bit dated, but was well looked after, clean and tidy. The bathroom was in good condition and spotlessly clean. Free parking on site is a bonus. Only slight moan is the add on costs for dogs, £8 per dog per night. Now I totally get a cleaning charge as dogs can and do create a bit more mess than 2 adults, however a one of...

"The Lerryn is a family-run hotel with all that entails, both positive and negative. And there is a lot to like. The hotel is clean, fresh and modern (a substantial revamp in 2014, I believe) with few rough edges. The room had a homely quality that you won't find in a corporate behemoth, and any minor signs of wear were perfectly acceptable. "My daughter is coeliac and prior to going to Lugo Rock I messaged to let them know about her special dietary needs, Katie called me as soon as she received the message and was absolutely lovely at asking what my daughter would like to eat for breakfast. She was also there to greet us when we arrived and give us helpful information on the area. Breakfast was fabulous and so too was talking to Trish. This is a wonderful find and we will be back again! "
