"We have been to the Mill over the years, but not since the change of owners and Covid. The evening food was good, but the room was very tired and I would of expected more for the price. The breakfast range again a bit limited and the veggie sausages were still cold when they arrived even though we had waited 20 minutes for them. Also the carpark was a separate charge of £12 per night, which we were not made aware on booking, but we had to pay on arrival."

Travel on business - great stay
"I’m surprised this is only 3 stars. I travel for work and we always book 4 star minimum so I am a bit of a snob when I visit hotels now having stayed in some really fancy places. However the mill came recommended from previous stays from other colleagues. I booked a cosy deluxe double with breakfast. The room was nice and modern, great shower and good aircon. Good selection of tea /coffee and some biscuits. My only complaint about the room was the lack of a fridge (travelling on business, I really appreciate this) and the bed was 2 singles put together - although it was still comfy on the side I was at. The spa was great and included in the hotel room price, and a good gym too. Breakfast was good with a decent selection , and we ate in one night at the restaurant and it was really good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Staff were friendly and humorous"
