"Because of my wife being unwell, we spent much more time in the hotel room than intended. What a good job that this was one of the best rooms we have stayed in, half the price of London rooms for double the size. We were aware of the announcements from Lime Street station, but given we were on the 5th floor, it was back ground noise. "Stayed here for 1 night in November. First impressions very good. Check in quick. We had a family room overlooking the sea, with the added bonus of a small portion of the Blackpool illuminations were viewable from our room. There is some free parking on the street just outside the front of the hotel, not much but we were lucky to get a spot, otherwise it’s £17:50 per day in the hotel car park. "We always stay here when visiting the nearby RHS Bridgewater garden. It’s a short drive away. It’s good value for money, we don’t feel we are paying for something we wont be using.The hotel has a spacious lounge and bar. The breakfast is very good. The hotel seems to have been improved each time we go. One day they will get rid of the wood chip wallpaper in the rooms. It just won’t be the same! "
