The hotel was beautiful, staff warm and welcoming. Parking is recommended on the hotel website at the carpark next door however, this is very expensive and you do not receive a discount from Malmaison. I would recommend doing your home work on alternative parking although it was safe and manned.

Fabulous stay at the Malmaison Liverpool, the room was really spacious and comfortable. Beautiful bar area. All the staff were wonderful. Great night and looking forward to booking a stay there again 🙂

Lovely location just a short walk into the City Centre and Docks. Rooms are lovely and I personal love the massive baths. Parking is pricey though as hotel doesn’t offer a discount for guests but car park is right next door to the hotel. Would highly recommend

After the first night, went for a shower in the morning and there was no hot water, the tap did not work. They quickly arranged for me to take a shower in another room and fixed the tap before the end of the day. So I did not have repack and change rooms, had my shower. The Front Desk was apologtic, gracious and acted quickly. Would be happy to stay there again, very convenient to downtown restaurants, attractions, including their annual Santa run which included folks in blue Santa suits (Everton Colors). Anfield was also close by which is why I went.

We were a little disappointed with the quality of the room. For a 4 star hotel and £237 a night for a standard room, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness. There was a musty smell in the corridor and room. The headboard was filthy with stains. The extractor in the bathroom was covered in mould. The room was in a general poor condition. Had food in the bar area, seabass was full of bones and made me unwell. I had to return it and order alternative which was t any better. The brisket was dry. Wouldn't stay here again as we didn't find it value for money

We had decided to upgrade our overnight Monday stay at Malmaison to the highest grade in a double room, which was a club deluxe double. We checked in after 3pm as instructed. Upon entering our room we initially felt something was wrong. The shower looked like it had been used immediately before we arrived. There was a used towel on the rack. One bottle of water was missing and there were no coffee cups alongside the machine. The last resident had also left their nectar card in the room key slot by the door. We were leaving for a meal in town straight away, and so went to reception on our way out and informed them of this. The lady on reception was very nice andapologetic,and asked if we wanted to move rooms. We confirmed we would like this if possible. The manger on reception then said, this was not possible. They said the room would be seen to immediately. We returned a few hours later. Our room has been serviced and there was a voucher for four hotel drinks on the table. We were very grateful for the drinks vouchers but disappointed we were not moved after check in.

The hotel is very well located on the docks making it much quieter than staying in the city centre. Hotel was comfortable. Staff lovely.

This is a well maintained modern hotel. Staff were courteous and helpful throughout our visit. I visited with my son and we had booked a twin room. The request for a twin room seemed to cause a little consternation at reception. Our check in was delayed whilst our room was prepared. When we arrived in the room double bed (consisting of two singles) had been made up with single duvets but not split. We pulled the two beds apart only to find that they were pushed back together each time the room was made up. The bar had several lagers but a very limited selection of bottled ale (our preference) with none available on our second evening. The restaurant menu was disappointing. It was that of a pub restaurant rather than a mid to high end hotel. There was a wide selection of stodgy high fat food available (burgers, pizza etc.) but little in the way of lighter dishes. A passable stay, but expensive for what was on offer. Will go elsewhere next time.
