"The £5 a night parking charge surprised me, perhaps I missed this when reading your website. Also, the barrier preventing me driving into the car park was down thus, I could not drive in. Apparently there is a 4-digit code to enter. Again, I don’t remember reading about that on your website. In any case, surely that 4-digit code should be texted or emailed to guests prior to their arrival. So, my initial impression of the hotel was not good. However, the room is excellent thanks to the wonderful...

"Recently refurbished, but not complete ... smart TVs not yet connected properly, for example. Done up to a nice standard, but a few minor snagging and design issues. There was quite a bit of street noise outside my room, but it was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and attentive."

"Beginning to look a bit tired but otherwise all good. Very welcoming of our dogs as it was pre-Crufts. Biggest gripe was size of pillow in otherwise comfortable bed; they are tiny and there is only one each."

"Lovely course side rooms, nice room facilities. Right next to silverstone complex. Lovely staff in restaurant. Food not brilliant unfortunately but we'd stay here again. Though cooked breakfast was good. "

"Hotel was easy to find and access, The Staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. Drinking and dining areas were pleasant with a variety of seating options, service was pleasant and quick. Menu was/is interesting and varied and food was well cooked and presented. Good breakfasts too. We were there for two nights to attend a nearby event and can wholeheartedly recommend The Cocked Hat 😁"
