"Pleasantly surprised with our stay. The rooms are small but it is sufficient and it’s a budget hotel, so it makes sense. I’m 6’4” and hit my head on the shower rod because it’s a small bathroom and it hangs a bit low but no big deal for me. Other guests weren’t loud so we slept through the night fine. Also had an ocean view from our room and a small balcony. Wi-Fi situation could be better. Requires a new code and max 2GB. Otherwise all good. "

"Just a one night stay for us after attending an event at the ASB showgrounds. Very easy to find and very comfortable room. Bed was a bit hard for us. "

The only downside is location - I picked this hotel because I booked several day tours that offered hotel pickup from this location, but it was hard to find restaurants or shopping within walking distance. I would stay again though "

"Clean and inexpensive met my needs. Restaurant breakfast expensive and not to be recommended. The Bakery Restaurant is close by and serves excellent breakfast and lunch. "

"The quest on Queen was a wonderful property located in the wharf area on the main fashion Street of Auckland. Great location for walking around and great restaurants."

"Our room had a fantastic 270 degree view of Auckland harbor, city, and suburbs. Front desk people were very helpful. Room was very clean. Loved having a washer and drier. Excellent value. Area around the hotel was fine (on the average) but didn’t like having a “Gentleman’s club” across the street. "
