"This hotel was fine for what we needed it for: a place to crash overnight before getting a train to Florence. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom well equipped. Staff could have been more pleasant, there were almost no dining options we could access without a car, and the breakfast was below average compared to what we had at other hotels in Italy."

"Loved this hotel. Very peaceful considering it is on a main road. Staff are lovely. Very friendly and efficient. Always offer assistance. Both the public area and the room were spotless. Plenty of sanitising gel available and masks worn by everyone in public areas. The room was lovely, with a small balcony. Nice toiletries provided. Buffet breakfast not possible due to Covid, but breakfast was served by Sara. She was so nice and friendly and her home baking was delicious! We were a 5-10...

"A true gem! Rooms are on the small side but absolutely comfortable and tasteful. Newly renovated with quality materials. The bathroom was spotless, a very nice size, shower with both oversized and handheld shower heads. Climate control was great: so quiet you could not hear the AC was on! Rooms are quiet and matress so comfortble that I overslept and missed breakfast! However, they insisted on offering me some coffee or juice. Very nice staff. Free parking on premises. "Beautiful buikding in a small Tuscan village. Rooms are beautifully aired and cool. Even during a 40degree heatwave. Owners even put our room to the back of the hotel as i dont cope with heat or noise. Not that there was any noise. Owners gave us plugins to ensure no mosquitos. Allowed us to areive very late in the night as well. Remembered it was my husbands birthday and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Will definitely be coming back here"

"What an amazing place! Volpaia is a unique venue, in a beautiful setting and it was a joy to stay there. Our room was lovely- comfortable, clean and with a stunning view- even from the loo!
