"Parking is difficult. No cars are allowed in the Old City so you will probably have to walk about 300m or so to reach the hotel. We were advised that there was street parking, a free lot, and a pay lot a shot met distance away, but everything was always full and we were there in Dec. "it is lovely small hotel , facing the sea, on the strip of Rethymnon beach enjoying lovely views over Rethymnon city and the endless blue. The large sandy beach is steps away from the property. Rooms are large, new, nicely decorated, clean and those facing the sea have lovely balconies with unrestricted views. Breakfast is very good served at ground floor restaurant with view over the sea. "Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance.
