However the TV had no signal and although there was a telephone there was nothing to plug it into. We complained and they moved us to a lovely family room. "If you are expecting 5* luxury then this might not be the place for you. However if just a quick stopover it’s not too bad at all. The rooms are functional and I personally found the bed very comfortable. This is a basic room at a value price, if you are paying for a cheap room, then expect a cheap room. Personally it was fine both price wise and comfort wise and for an overnight stay I would use again. "

"After my friends came down with sickness and couldn’t host us anymore I was worried about a backup plan the day off on a busy weekend. The Woodhouse was available at a fair price! It’s cute, cozy, has great views, is very walkable and has a great atmosphere! The breakfast for £7 more was well worth it! The people who own and run this are amazing! So kind and helpful! Will be staying again even if my family is healthy! "
