"Stayed one night in February. This is a budget hotel, and I am rating this as a budget hotel. The property is basic, clean, no thrills. The room was adequate, the bathroom was a bit tight, felt like in a space capsule. Sleep was comfortable. Had a desk to do my remote work. Walking distance to the U-Bahn station. "Since 2018 I've been staying in the Grey Hotel for over 50 nights in total but I don't find any reason to switch to another hotel. Located inside Wallring, 2 minute walk from Dortmund Hbf and staff is helpful. I'll keep using it when I have a business trip to Dortmund."

"Beautiful hotel and easily accessible from the motorway... Services are very close by... along with McDonald's.. The hotel has a beautiful reception and restaurant area as you walk in.. Staff are friendly and welcoming.. The room was spacious with two single beds.. TV.. and ensuite bathroom.. great shower with instant hot water Unfortunately my room overlooked the motorway but if you are fortunate enough to have a rear facing room you can see over the nearby reservoir.. Woke up to a bit of fog coverage which just added to the ambiance. Only downfall was it was a bit difficult to find the reception office to check in.
