"What a beautiful place to stay!! Right on the beautiful lake and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town. Also 5 minutes from Interlaken West which you walk along a quiet road to get to the hotel - very nice since the town itself can be busy. Best time to go is for New Year’s as they have a huge festival the 1st and a parade the 2nd. 5 minutes from a very cute cafe called Velo, and very close to the Victoria hotel. Reception was fabulous. "This hotel is beside the Hotel Tannenhof which is the lobby you go to to check in. Hotel Alpina is the epitome of what you would expect for a swiss hotel stay. I loved everything about it. The room with a balcony, the elevator with its quirks, and the community guest area. Highly recommend taking the Matterhorn Glacier Express to get the most amazing mountain views. October also provided jaw dropping colours. For me this was a dream come true stay."
