"A pleasant 1 night stay in Snaefellsnes as we were driving around the ring road. Adam at the reception gave us a very warm welcome and was very friendly. We were also quite pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at the Mural restaurant at the hotel. Being vegetarians, we were not expecting to see anything satisfactory on the menu but we quite enjoyed the cream of mushroom soup and the avocado salad. There are no other restaurants to speak of in the rest of the town or within short driving...

"The lodge is on a gorgeous property in the valley before the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The owner was so kind and accommodating after our flight was significantly delayed. The breakfast was hearty, good variety and delicious. It’s a perfect spot to explore the peninsula. You need to plan a little ahead for food items (snacks and lunch only as breakfast and dinner are available). Highly recommend!"
