"I swore to myself that I wouldn't use another ibis hotel after a horrendous stay in a Birmingham one many years ago. However I needed a hotel near to an event I was going to and because I'd left it late my usual hotel was full. It was only for one night so I figured I could cope with it. Yes, it was basic (clue in the name), but it was clean and the bed was comfy. I was expecting more noise later on but this was minimal and I was only woken up once. "Room was comfortable. Breakfast on first morning was good however due to an oven fault on the second morning choice was very limited. Lift wasn’t working when we were leaving which meant having to carry all luggage downstairs from the 3rd floor. "

"Room service offered and was excellent and quick. They supplied bucket of ice for my husband who had knee surgery and needed to ice his knee. Over and above I would say. Food from restaurant was very nice. Hotel only supplies whole milk but when I asked the gentleman at breakfast went above and beyond to get me some semi skimmed which was excellent!! Bar prices are very reasonable. All in all a great stay at the Littleover Lodge! "

"Fantastic location. Refurbished bedroom was fabulous. Some areas of the property are a little tired but undergoing refreshments and so I am Sure will be lovely. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Most staff were friendly and helpful. A couple were brief and seemed liked they would rather be elsewhere, but nothing to put me off going again."
