"Great vibe, and a lovely breakfast included, very friendly staff. Reasonably priced for city centre and close walk to everything. Only complaint is the hot water in the shower was either too hot or too cold. For the price and vibe I just jumped in the pool. I also found the other guests really friendly which is nice. "

"Wayan was very helpful and the gardens in the property were delightful. More communication, extra towels in the rooms, and suggestions such as stop off at a market for bottled water would be helpful, especially for first time to Bali travelers. Great location!"

"A small traditional hotel oozing with Balinese personality. Situated just off Monkey Forest Road so handy for everything, yet very peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. We stayed bed and breakfast. Food was magnificent, made fresh each morning and brought to our room. Staff were wonderful. Lovely little pool too. Highly recommended. "

"I and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kalyana. The staff were wonderful, warm and welcoming. Responsive to questions / pre-bookings prior to our arrival from the US. We stayed in one of the wooden bedroom private pool villas. It was absolutely gorgeous - serene, and private. I was worried about mosquitos as it’s completely surrounded by rice fields. We were fine - no bites! Staff told us to let them know if we experienced any problems as they do spray - our bed had a mosquito...
