"the hotel was beautiful and every aspect was perfected to offer traditional balinese hospitality. It had been 8 years since i was in Ubud, and I couldn't believe how much busier it had gotten and the traffic was grossly congested, making getting around enjoyable difficult. We also didn't like how tourist some aspects had become and obvious money making opportunities were a bit off putting outside the hotel. we also got very unwell. "

The suites are good, although cleanliness has much to be desired...the turnover was done but garbage in the room was not cleared!!! The rooms are very nice and clean although my room smelt humid, but I guess it is difficult to control that with the hot and humid weather. Staff very nice and helpful. The only "negative" part is that breakfast has limited options (a fixed menu) outside the hotel and any extra item you want you need to pay for it (like an extra coffee for example)."
