Initially I parked on street using the English language enabled parking meter and card payment. I then used the hotel car park, which was quite expensive, for our two day stay. "Fantastic communication. This is our 2nd stay and will stay again. There is a pool in hotel you can use, a lovely park and games room. Close to theme park and beach. Trams are a plus also. Would recommend."

"If this hotel could be moved closer to the town centre then it would be 5 star. Unfortunately the road into town, which cuts through an industrial area, does not have a footpath and you have to walk in the road, ok in daylight but very unsafe at night. That is the only fault we found with this hotel, yes, we understand it’s not there fault but?????"

"The Upstairs hotel was a very stylish and fun hotel just steps from the beach. The staff was really friendly and helpful! One small point is if you do book one of the small/cheap rooms, they aren't easily accessible via the lifts. You will need to go down a couple of flights of stairs which can be tough with heavy luggage. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Ostend!"

"Lovely hotel, very helpful staff, I asked for a couple of extra items and they were so accommodating. Beautiful old building but now done to the highest standards. Fabulous breakfast too. Bed very comfortable and bathroom very clean. This was my second visit. I hope to go there again soon. "
