"Very well looked after for a huge older property, a few cobwebs here and there but overall very good. Very characterful place with a strong historic atmosphere. "Really good overnight stay. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. Food was a little pricey, but was quality. Car park charge was low for a hotel. "

"You are booking here probably because you need to attend a ceremony nearby, so perfectly fine for a short stay. It has a certain kind of familiarity to it. No air-con but we were here in November so not a problem at all. 30 or so spots of parking, no lift to 2nd floor, no complaints. "
