The apartments are located a short drive away from the main hotel and overlook the town, but easy to find and access. "Incredibly beautiful property. Appears to be recently renovated as everything was updated and gorgeous. The staff were very kind and helpful. Recommendation was made for a restaurant: Roam West, which is just up the road. Don’t look anywhere else for dinner. I had the best steamed mussels of anywhere I’ve eaten and my wife had an incredible fish and chips. This house is wonderful, just a short drive from Fort Mason"

"The hotel roomed seemed spacious and clean. The shower ran out of hot water first thing in the morning. I had to take a cold shower at 7 in the morning because the warm water just went away and I had the handle turned all the way to hot. Not a great experience. And my husband was charged $10 for a small bowl of cereal and a coffee which is steep. "

"The place is right next to the water - unobstructed view. The 0.7 mile walk to center of Oban was nice in good weather but we got wet several time (expected this for October). Public transportation was hard to find so needed our car. Our room was a little small and cramped, but we could see other larger rooms. Check in and parking was a bit of a hassle. Great “Continental breakfast “ that included meats, cheeses, baked goods and more- well worth the modest cost "

"Hillview is an excellent guest house along the road leading to Fort William. The room was fine and recently decorated. It is modern and very clean. The bathroom has every thing you need and it is clean and fresh. You can park your car right outside the house, The views over Loch Linnhe are magnificent. It is very easy to drive to Fort William (about 4 minutes) Breakfast is vey nice (not a fry up which was most welcome!) The owners are very friendly and helpful."
