"Liked that it was very cosy, very comfortable bed, exceptionally helpful and polite staff. Liked the dining room and bar areas and the open fires. Impressive to see the pool and tennis courts. Very comfortable and relaxing stay and would definitely go back. Wasn't expecting nearly as much as it delivered. Small constructive criticisms: shampoo is in a container that is inaccessible from the bath; be good to have some loose soap for use there. The exterior (and some interior areas) could do with redecoration - peeling paint etc. However great venue."

"The scenery is wonderful, the medival castle transport you back in time. Very nice, definitely recommended, you won't regret it. The staff and service are very good too, rooms are clean. Very relaxing to spend a few days away from reality."

"Nice hotel. Bit of a journey into town but if you rent a car or drive no problem. About 20-30mins. Hotel was nice, food was good. (Breakfast is worth the extra 10£ per night) Overall would recommend."
