"Very good hotel with excellent and helpful staff. The room was actually very nice, It was in excellent condition and had everything you would need. But was completely let down by probably the worst beds we have ever attempted to sleep on. They were so hard that we struggled to sleep. We would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor and, so as you can imagine this really spoilt the whole experience. As for breakfast it was good but would have been better to have had a choice of eggs...

Rooms in the paddock annex are nice but wifi was lacking which wasn't ideal as we were there for work purposes. Only other downside, is that the food choices are either high end or the bar menu which itself is limited. There needs to be more a mid-range restaurant option in my opinion. "Overnight stay to visit family in Northampton. The hotel is conveniently placed just off the A45 expressway, and has a large free carpark. Check in was swift and our room was located at the far end of a corridor (which was great as we had asked for a quiet location). The room was large and comfortable. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean and tidy. We ate in the bar and the food was enjoyable if a little overpriced. Cannot comment on breakfast as we were room only."

Hotel entrance was spoilt by the abundance of cigarette butts on the floor and plant containers. "
