"Overall, we had a great time (in 2 of the cottage rooms). The hotel is well located for the beach and walks to restaurants etc. The rooms were big and the beds were too (and comfortable). The staff were friendly and helpful. The car park costs were good compared to other local car parks albeit we were lucky getting a space at the Marriott car park - there are others very close by, however. Alas, we had a wait for our cottage rooms to be available (4:30pm) but were given a couple of drinks...

"Nice clean room. Huge bathroom. Breakfast was very good, buffet style with good choices to suit everybody. Was not able to get tea and cake, although full afternoon tea could be booked in advance. "This hotel proves that if it's not broke, don't fix it. The facilities look old at first glance, but everything is operational and clean. The bathrooms are stunningly clean and renovated. The pool facilities are exceptional - which also includes a hot tub - and you're provided with towels. The only fault on this hotel is the early check out time of 10am."

"I loved the location of the property. Beautiful trees. The foyer us very modern and comfortable. We were a large group and enjoyed our stay. The room we had was okay size for one night. The family room is very spacious. Clean and tidy. The swimming pool was nice and warm. The changing rooms and showers in the pool are in need of update. The bathroom was clean and had everything needed. Parking is £10 per day but reasonable. Breakfast was a bit basic but okay with warm croissants. Option to order...
