"Location was great. Room was a bit small for a family of four and could have been cleaned a little better (a few stains on couch and unknown substance splattered on the wall). Staff was outstanding and probably the best part of the entire hotel. They were knowledgeable and so kind. Overall a decent stay. "

"A couple of negatives here; the hot-tub (a major factor in the decision to book here) was barely tepid and not comfortable to sit in and wheelchair access while available is not the easiest. However, the jewel in the Argyle's crown is the staff. Every member of staff we encountered during our visit was exceptional. Attentive and genuine, they made our stay more enjoyable. "We stayed for one night and the hotel was perfect for us. Room was comfy and so was the bed. Walls a little thin so could hear next door at 2.30 coming in and chatting! But did not impact the overall stay. We did use the swimming pool, which was a cheeky bonus in staying. Staff were efficient and freindly. Would stay again for a short stay."

"Not really certain why, but we were given an “accessible” room. Looking at my reservation we reserved a “Deluxe King.” I was told by reception that our assignment to that room was random, but in the UK they do have an over abundance of accessible rooms."
