"Fantastic location right in the centre of town, but tucked away from the main street with beautiful view across the cascades. "The entire experience was excellent.... it was my first time in Ireland and I love being immersed in the old world charm, accommodating staff, excellent food in pub, convenience to everything in town and the well designed and comfortable rooms that had all of the comforts of home.....the lobby and surrounding areas were always filled with guests to either talk with or listen to music their !!. "I have mixed feelings about this stay. It is hard not to compare it to other cottages I've stayed in while in Ireland at the same price point. Where there is a basic welcoming basket with bread, eggs, salt and pepper. There is nothing of the sort here. There were a lot of rules posted around that seemed a bit much compared to the condition of the cottage. The beds were not comfortable, but the bedding looked newer. There was an electric carving knife, but no hair dryer. There is no dishwasher,...
