"We know the Hotel well as both originate from Skipton and remember it remember it being built. It’s showing its age; food and service was great. Disappointing bar if you like beer and not lager. All draught beers were off. Bed while massive I found hard and uncomfortable but that isn’t a reason not to stay. We were visiting family and it did the job. Lovely small pool and sauna. The room was a bit on the small side, room for only one chair and we were two visitors but otherwise very comfortable.
